14 National Philanthropy Day® 2022 DISTINGUISHED HONOREE PROGRAM Members of the Association of Fundraising Professionals have the exclusive opportunity to recognize an outstanding founder, donor or volunteer through the Distinguished Honoree Program at the National Philanthropy Day Celebration, an event which takes place annually each November and is one of countless such events. Fundraisers from a myriad of Western New York not-for-profits are gathered here today for this heartfelt celebration to share stories of amazing philanthropic gifts and volunteer efforts that make Western New York a strong, caring and truly unique and vibrant community. The Distinguished Honoree Program provides members of our AFP Chapter with a wonderful way to say “thank you” to someone who has gone above and beyond for their organization. Honorees are individuals, couples or organizations and may be represented by an individual or group. On behalf of the Western New York Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, its Board of Directors, NPD chairpersons, Megan Graves and Caroline Hurley, and the National Philanthropy Day committee and volunteers, thank you for being a part of today’s event and for partaking in the prestigious recognition of this year’s generous and dynamic group of award winners and distinguished honorees!
